KPTCL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- For Junior Station Attendant (JSA): Candidates must have passed SSLC/10th standard from a recognized board.
- For Junior Powerman (JPM): Candidates should have passed SSLC/10th standard with relevant technical training or ITI (Electrician/Wireman Trade).
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 18 years as of November 20, 2024
- Maximum age:
- General Category: 35 years
- OBC Category: 38 years
- SC/ST Category: 40 years

KPTCL Posts Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on merit of qualifying examination
- Endurance Test

- Medical Examination
The Endurance Test includes five physical tests:
- Electric Pole Climb (8-meter height)
- 100 Meter Run (14 seconds)
- Singa (Physical Exercise) – 50 repetitions in one minute
- Shot Put (12 pounds) – 8 meters throw
- 800 Meter Run (3 minutes)
KPTCL Job Pay Scale & Salary Details
- 1st Year: ₹17,000
- 2nd Year: ₹19,000
- 3rd Year: ₹21,000
After completing three years of service, the salary range will be from ₹28,550 to ₹63,000 per month. Additionally, employees will be entitled to various benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Allowance (MA), and other perks as per KPTCL norms.
