PSTET December 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Paper I (Classes I-V):
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
For Paper II (Classes VI-VIII):
  • Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE regulations 2002
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a school subject with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for PSTET 2024.

PSTET Job Pay Scale & Salary Details

  • For Primary Teachers (Classes I-V): Pay Band of ₹10300-34800 with Grade Pay of ₹5000
  • For Upper Primary Teachers (Classes VI-VIII): Pay Band of ₹10300-34800 with Grade Pay of ₹5400
